Bellevue is a numbers game. In a town where you’re always deciding between the full parking lot at High Kaliber or the wait at Crepe Bistro, data matters.

I ran the calculations. The spread here runs from Republic Chophouse’s absurd celebration cake to FreshKIND’s fifteen-minute lunch bowl.

One is a financial commitment; the other is a casual Tuesday. Both are correct answers.

The brisket jam in Bellevue beats anything I’ve had off I-35, and that’s a fact, not a boast. Consult the list, then make your reservation.

Bring cash for The Ravine’s old fashioned; you’ll want two.

Three Three Five

Three Three Five
Highlights
Fish fry portions are generous
Homemade tartar sauce wins
Creative menu changes often
Ambiance cozy, but service rushed
Cocktails tasty, yet overpriced

Three Three Five piles the fish high. The portions are serious. Their tartar sauce is house-made and worth every calorie. I appreciate a menu that changes, keeps things interesting. But the rushed pacing kills the cozy vibe. Cocktails are good, yet the price tag stings a bit. Come hungry, leave quickly. That's the deal here.

Worth the wait

High Kaliber Craft Kitchen nails the smoked meats. The brisket jam on the Jay Mac is a messy, glorious triumph. Wings are juicy, not dry. Beans have that slow-cooked depth. Yes, you might wait for a table. Do it anyway. This is the best BBQ I've found north of Texas. Simple as that.
